Duane Mercer is a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Altium Investment Strategies, where he is responsible for the firm's financial architecture, governance framework, and operating structure. His focus is on building an institutional-grade investment platform that delivers sophisticated portfolio solutions with consistency, transparency, and operational discipline. 

Duane brings more than 20 years of experience across financial services, including senior financial and operational leadership within the wealth advisory industry. As Chief Financial Officer of Accurate Advisory Group, he has overseen firmwide financial strategy, governance, and incentive design across a multidisciplinary advisory organization. 

In 2019, Duane played a key role in establishing Accurate Wealth Management as an SEC-registered investment adviser, supporting its regulatory launch, operating structure, and financial framework. Since inception, the RIA has grown from less than $100 million in assets under management to approximately $1.5 billion today. He also helped lead the formation of AAG Capital, the firm's affiliated broker-dealer, contributing to its regulatory setup, operational design, and ongoing financial oversight. 

These experiences reflect Duane's role in guiding firms through complex regulatory environments while building scalable platforms designed for long-term growth. At Altium, he applies this experience to operational leadership across platform infrastructure, systems oversight, and vendor management supporting portfolio management, trading, reporting, and partner onboarding. 

Duane holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Information Systems Management and Finance from the University of South Florida. He is based in Tampa, Florida. Outside of work, Duane enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. As a native Floridian, he values time outdoors, especially time at the beach and traveling with family.
